Are all of your teas fair trade? What does that really mean?
I'm a southern sweet tea drinker and new to steeping tea. How do I get started?
We decided to close our store location at the end of April 2008. Our desire is to continue the experience of tea and community online. Although we are no longer at the Inman Park location you will find us at many events around the Atlanta area. We continue to cater tea parties, book club meetings and other local events. Labor Day weekend we will celebrate our birthday with a weekend full of activities. Check back for details.

Although all of our teas are not fair trade many are. We are seriously considering stocking only fair trade teas but have not thus far. Fair trade is an organized social movement and market-based approach to alleviating global poverty and promoting sustainability. The movement advocates the payment of a fair price and fair wage for all.
All items with the exception of loose tea may be returned. If you're not happy...we're not happy! Before you send anything back please call and we can discuss how to proceed.
We certainly will! Continue to check the website weekly for a list of updated events. Our latest experience was to The First Flush in Charleston South Carolina, the only tea plantation in the United States. We have an upcoming tea experience to Brazil later this year and for our local market we will be celebrating our birthday Labor Day weekend with a grand celebration. Keep checking back for details.
We have converted many "southern sweet tea" drinkers in our time and look forward to showing everyone how GREAT fresh brewed tea (from tea leaves) can be. First you must have the right equipment (we offer everything you need) , great brewing instructions and of course a fresh tasting tea. For beginners we suggest one of our teas that are great iced too. Call us for more instructions...we will be glad to walk you through the process.
